Privacy statement

Last updated: September 18, 2026

Second Reading is operated by Imran Yousuf in Ontario, Canada. This statement explains what we collect when you order a review, how we use it, and how long we keep it. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

How we use it

Your document and your report

Your uploaded document is used only to prepare your report. It is processed with the assistance of an AI service under terms that do not permit the service to use your document to train its models. A person reviews the draft report before it is sent. We do not sell, share, or disclose your document or report to anyone else, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

How long we keep it

Where it is stored

Our email and file storage are provided by Google Workspace; payments by Stripe; forms by Tally; and AI processing by Anthropic. These providers may store data in the United States or other countries. By ordering, you consent to this transfer.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, subject to what we must keep for legal reasons. Email [email protected]. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. Residents of other jurisdictions may have additional rights under local law.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses Plausible Analytics, which measures page visits without cookies and without identifying individual visitors. Our payment processor and form provider may set cookies necessary to operate checkout and the upload form. The page you reach after payment carries a Google Ads conversion tag, which sets a cookie so we can measure whether an ad led to an order; it is not present on other pages.
